Angie has previously served families and staff through programs at Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation, Ozaukee Family Services, Wisconsin Early Childhood Association, Harry and Rose Samson Jewish Community Center, March of Dimes, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Level One NICU.
Her specialties include certified child life support, family life education, infant massage instruction, advanced bereavement facilitation, trauma counseling, and wellness coaching. Angie also mentors and supports other professionals, contributes to healthcare journals, parenting blogs, and wellness newsletters, and speaks to groups both in person and virtually.
Angie brings extensive experience in supporting children and families with the psychosocial aspects of healthcare and life transitions, using play, modeling, and education grounded in child development, family coping, and resilience.

Her work includes guiding children of all ages and abilities and their families to better understand medical procedures and diagnoses, while encouraging the use of positive coping skills throughout life—from birth to end-of-life care and bereavement support.
This support may include helping children prepare for surgery or hospitalization, supporting siblings during healthcare challenges, assisting families coping with chronic illness, and creating age-appropriate ways for children to process difficult emotions and experiences.
